Delete your PumpBook account

A registered dealer can request permanent deletion of their PumpBook account and the data associated with it. You do not need to reinstall the app or make a payment to submit a request.

Request complete account deletion

1. Email info@prosyssoftware.com from the email address registered with PumpBook.
2. Use the subject Delete my PumpBook account and include your PumpBook User ID, registered mobile number and station name.
3. We will verify that the requester controls the dealer account. We may ask for additional account information, but never ask for your password.
4. After verification, we will confirm the deletion scope and process the request, normally within 30 days.

Data deleted with the account

Deletion removes the dealer login and associated staff logins, station configuration, daily books and settlements, meter readings, collections, expenses, deposits, stock movements, tanker inward entries, credit customers, vehicles, credit sales and receipts, support records, uploaded bill images, OCR records, subscription records and payment records held in PumpBook's active systems.

Data that may be retained

Encrypted disaster-recovery backups may retain deleted information for up to 14 days before automatic rotation. Those backups are isolated from normal product use and are used only for service recovery. We may also retain a minimal record of the deletion request and information that must be preserved to meet legal, tax, fraud-prevention, security or dispute-resolution obligations for the period required by applicable law. Retained information is not used to continue the deleted account.

Delete transaction data without deleting the account

A dealer who wants to keep their login and station setup can request a start-fresh data reset from Dealer profile. After administrator review, this removes the station's daily transaction records while preserving the dealer account, staff, station, tanks, pumps, nozzles, products, credit customers, vehicles, opening balances, subscription and security history.
